This is one of the unholy bests albums on the black metal escene
the speed on the riffs you make you fall down into the most obscure
atmosphere, Weeping midwintertears begin with a amazing ambiental
guitarrs followed for a good ambiental keyboars is one of the best songs
on this album...

pure blasphemy !
highly recomended !

weeping midwintertears is something more than the hole cd itself. it's got to be heard to know how pain should be translated to music. it's sad that silenius changed his way of singing to almost normal bm vocals.

Weeping midwintertears is a very powerfull song, it is has an exeptional high raw natural feeling too it while very emotional, and there is the vocals... Nothing like it. If there is such a thing as extreemely black metalish, this is it. It has alot of Acoustic guitar, piano solo etc...

( Listen to it in complete darkness in the middle of the night and it will become twize as awesome...)

Weeping midwintertears rules!! This partly atmospheric track gives a mere sad atmosphere for the album, that is released by the other tracks. Silenius' sound is shivering! He should have stayed in Abigor forever! Listen to it, and weep, with the Midwintertears!!!

Here comes the first Abigor album. A lot of songs appears on previous demos but here with a better sound. All titles develop dark atmosphere with an excellent medieval ambience. Each tracks (except instrumental ones of course) mix melodies & brutality, with a very subtle manner of playing. They built foundations of their style & prove with this first album their intelligence & particular vision of what black metal must be. They simply create THE austrian sound (check with following elite bands: Summoning, Amestigon, Dornenreich (demos & first album)...
