Again, you have to be a true music and Danzig fan to like this, i loved it. The best songs on here are :"7th House", "See All You Were", "Sacrifice","Hint of Her Blood" and "Hand of Doom". The other songs like Blackacidevil(title track) are alright, you or I have to be in the right mood for them. It has alot of electronics, some songs even sound like an evil Depeche Mode, and this cd does not suck! and that rumor about him using distortion and effects through out the cd is not true, download or hear SACRIFICE, and then you will definately want this cd. Give it a try, i love it. 9/10 Review by: fosvart I always regarded this album as a major letdown. In a way it�s a continuation of the more electronic sound that was starting to become apparent on IV, but here it has taken over far too much. The music has lost it�s edge and most of the time it�s just plain dull, even though there is a few exceptions. The main problem with this album though in my eyes(ears?) is the amount of distortion used on Danzig�s greatest asset, his voice. On many of the track�s his vocals are totally ruined by this stupidity.. Unless you�re a Danzig completist I would recommend you to stay away from this album.
