what the fuck is this?
where's the old hypocrisy? is this some kind of experimental album? you can find some nu metal on this album on the song: turn the page it sounds like slipknot.
but there are still good songs on this cd. also a slow one.
after all this is still a good album but it's not what i expected
rating: 7/10

I've gotta completely disagree with these guys - what ever happened to the old Hypocrisy? Can anyone say "nu metal"? First In Flames go, then Hypocrisy... what's happening to the world of metal?! I'm shocked and disappointed at this betrayal of the fans - funny, Peter always said they'd never change, never go bad. Think it's about time to eat your words Peter, 'cause this album is CRAP... 1/10

Goodbye Hypocrisy. Finally, the name fits to the music. Tägtgren wanted to become more successful, so he started to mess around with Nu Metal. FUCK YOU, Tägtgren. This is nothing but poor. I hope, all Hypocrisy Fans will boycot this crap, maybe then these posers will come to mind again.

The changes are necessary, and Hipocrisy has been a Good album, not the dest album, but with a new not "nu" (babosos)sound in the music, the changes are necessary, fuck all the stupid radicals metallers.

Hail real metallers with minds open.....

The last release probably dissappointed hopes of HYPOCRISY fans cause the stuff is more soft, slow and melodical. But such new sounding is interesting for me. Of course, that album is not the best in bands' history. Anyway, I had a chance to see the band in Wacken Open Air this year and pieces from "Catch 22" tuned impressively live. Hope the next release to be better, more in true death metal.

if you own any other hypocrisy album and think this is going
to head down the same left hand path as before then you'd be
dead wrong exept for the same bandwith frequency and a few
trademark riffs here and there peter decided to modify the existing sound into more mainstream style but not to the
point whear the records a total peice of shit its just not as fast theres less solos and its not as dark. its loud its
tecnical its catchy a few hook riffs the lyrics need a face
lift there our some symphonic elemnts that amount to littel
more than back round noise "turn the page" is the best track
but because of the opening cord it bears resembelence to slipknot
but fokes this album surely is not a working of the mainstream therefore it deserves at least 6/10

I don't think that this hypocrisy album is so bad, after all it have some good songs (to me), like Hatred and All Turns Black. Maybe isn't so good like old loved and philthy Penetralia or Osculum Obscenum, but is something. I just want to say... fuck up all those who said that Peter Tägtgren is a sold out... i've think that!. Peter gives 150% in every album that records, in Hypocrisy, or Pain or The Abyss, instead of crying like fuckin gays we shall thanx Hypocrisy and Peter for all this years of good music...

What the hell is wrong with you people? Yes, this cd is different from Hypocrisy's other releases, but they make changes to their sound ever few albums. The music is still pretty damn awesome. Nu Metal? I'm pretty sure if Slipknot hear this they'd shit themselves because they could never make anything this good. The music is overall a bit slower, but the riffs are still heavy as fuck. The vocals are a bit different from the usual, but they fit the music. Overall, different from anything else they've done, but still pretty good. I wouldn't say it's their best, but hey, at least they returned to their old sound afterwards.

8.5/10
