I think it's been cool time period for thrash metal fans. First Exodus comeback, then this one... I've got no words! Simply !amazing! drumming, great duo of gitars and brutal voice of Petrozza make this one nonforgettable. Don't miss that one - it's a masterpiece. Go to shop as soon as it'll be possible and support Kreator - they're really true. Out.

The first one I heard from Kreator, and I have to say that they convinced me of their ability play trash. Its superb! Its fast, its slow, its agressive, its filled with energy all the time. Like an A-bomb into the ear canal!

Great sound!!! Actually, this one almost tastes like 'VIOLENT REVOLUTION' with more melodic riffs and a piece of swedish metal. Maybe it is not the best release of the thrash metal gods, yet it is still a good album and KREATOR is always KREATOR!!!

A great album. Violent Revolution was a hard act to follow, and as one might expect this album doesn't quite match it in this reviewer's opinion -- but then I agree with the others who thought Violent Revolution their best album ever; To explain why it wasn't so engaging, "Enemy of God" seems like they are using the same formula/feel (as Violent revolution), but they wrote all the best songs out of that formula already. Nevertheless!! I enjoy it a lot. There's precious little in speed metal that matches it these days. Kreator beat any thrash since "Arise" with their last two releases. It's good to see a band that can write lyrics both intelligent AND aggressive! I just hope they make it back here to Australia on their tour this year!

This album (like a his predecessor) is very primitive thrash metal. There's only two very good tracks, the rest is weak.
Kreator has a great experience to compose a really good thrash metal, but in two last albums they could invent some more, than to scream several times "Enemy of goooooood !!" or "Violent revolutioooooon !!" and so on through both albums. Very very primitive. Guitar's riffs are not great too. There only production and sound are good, but it's not enough for an entire album.

This is certainly one of the ultimate thrash albums Kreator has kreated in it's existence. It has everything that makes Thrash metal interesting. Agressive vocals, melodic guitar parts, great riffs, fast double bass actions from Ventor and some great epic songs. The last 3 songs are my favorites, but the whole album is really awesome. This is how good thrash metal should be played!

I don't see what you people are complaining about. Primitive? It may be a very straight-forward album, but I think it's a nice change from their slightly more complex earlier works. Sometimes you WANT catchy things like screaming 'Enemy of goood'. Simple doesn't mean bad. I'll admit that after a while it does start to get a tad tedious, but all the songs are well-written and most of my favorite Kreator tracks come from this album. It makes me think of what slayer would sound like if they had a bit more melody and raspier vocals. 9/10
