This album has a much better production than the others. What began with their past album, Inferno, has become now their essence regarding to their sound: symphonic music mixed with rock/heavy section. Lacrimosa includes a symphonic orchestra, choruses and both male (Tilo Wolff) and female (Anne Nurmi) voices. But this is just the surface. To me, the real point of Lacrimosa is the lyrics, and how the music accompanies them. And they reach the deepest chords of my soul... It is very easy to get lost with all the amazing possibilities that offers composing for both rock and symphonic instruments, but Lacrimosa certainly doesn't.
