This album has some really, really good songs, and by that I mean it also has issues as it pertains to being consistent. Track 2 is fantastic, and the nine ghosts of the ring of power(or whatever you call it) has wonderful keyboard melodies. The vocals aren't particularly harsh, kind of hoarse, mid-period Rob Darken(but more screamy, less talkish). So expect semi-epic, melodic black metal with some keyboards to be found here and there. It's not all slow to midpaced, mind you, but if you're looking for a black metal assault, this is not the place to look. More of a 'winding down' album.
