Wow, Slayer is back in a big way with this release. It's refreshing to hear one of the true giants of metal return and show these other bands how it's done. Review by: nyj666 Very suprised with this AWESOME release!! One of Slayer's best albums. Different and better than "Diabolus In Musica" and "Divine Intervention", which is why I was suprised. "Disciple" is the best metal song released by anybody in years. No weak tracks, very addictive. Thank God(who "Hates Us All")for SLAYER!!! Review by: BKRMTLHD Slayer, back with another album!!! After DiM, it could only get better, and it did! While this album simply cannot be compared to the early stuff, it is great by itself!!! Most of the tracks are similar, and that's a good thing! They are the only band I know that will never change for bad or just disappoint their fans. Their music is POSTMORTEM. And with no chance of becoming commercial. Great video of "Bloodline", though. Review by: Anselmo Many people curse this album and give a big FUCK to SLAYER, but they just cannot understand SLAYER still stands strong on their belief. This album may sound different from their earlier legendary stuff like Reign In Blood, but I have to say this album is still fucking heavy, dark, and definitely not for mainstream trendy ass. Oh, more importantly, it provides a chance for me to give a big FUCK to METALLICRAP. SLAYER might have changed their style a little bit, but the heaviness and quality are still there, unlike their St. Crap and other recent shit. More importantly, SLAYER isn't gay. They did not gel their hair, smoke cigar in front of the public, and NEVER say "Metal is over" in the MTV music award. If u think this album sucks, u better try it deeply in a different way. But it isn't the long-awaited devastating return of the "Reign in blood"-times. This one is only a little bit better than it's predecessor "Diabolous..". The second not really good album in their discography. Review by: warhellhammer i think this is easily slayers worst album, they peaked at seasons, a bit like metallicas black album. anyway this album is pretty bad only 2 good songs on it are disciple and new faith (which starts getting bad after like 1 and a half minutes). its not as bad as metallicas st anger (would be pretty hard 2 be) however dont get this album, its not worth the $$$ Review by: Ope†h Definitely not Slayer's best, not their worst either. I must say that "Disciple" may be THE most powerful metal song ever. Not the best, but when Araya screams "God hates us all!" the incredible power behind it is scary. I'm not really into anti-religious music, but I have to give Slayer credit for making such a headbanging, blood-boiling song. Buy the album just to hear the greatness in that one song.
