Dude, what were you listening to? Obviously not the right one. Or maybe you dont get it either way your loss! Gravitational constant (unjustifiable existance) is the highlight of this album. All lyrics speak with such honesty and clear pain. I've owned this album for years and have never or will never tire of it. It's a must for any metal fan.

This TON album is different from all of the others, it's very good though. The First song Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity (I Know Your Fucking Someone Else) is a favorite of mine, along with the last song "Gravity". Dont be mistaken by the titles, there is atleast maybe 13 songs on this cd, but all medleys.Pete tends to 'shout?' more, then other TON albums, more trashy-hardcore style, but then again all the gothic doom elements are stillthere.

The speedier passages of the songs on that album reminds me to the old "Carnivore"-Times of Pete Steele.
But each song has its slow, doomy passages, too.
This is a very interesting music and one of the less albums, which has in my opinion a kind of genius.
I love this album, its Type O.'s best one!
"Unsuccessfully..." and "Der Untermensch" are masterpieces shouldn't miss in every collection of great music.

'Unsuccessfully coping with the natural beauty of infidelity' is great, a few others are great. overall pretty damn good.

I am sorry, but whoever doesn't like the lyrics on this album does not like metal. "Your screaming, my laughter" and "your dying, I masturbate" are pure revenge genius. The brutal honesty from a man torn, written and screamed in a way that signifies pain, torture, revenge, and yes, sarcasm, come through in a way I've never heard before nor ever since.

This album was performed "live" (Origin Of The Feces) and I actually like that album better. But this album definitely signified the transfer of direction that Peter Steele wanted to go to (from his old band Carnivore to Type O Negative, with a beautiful mixture of both on this album).

Beautiful brutal album full of pain, but redeemed because of perfect revenge. 9/10.
