Gaze into birchfire, freezing rainForlorn vision declared with flameDescending twilight falls on meIn acrid smoke a girl stands plainHer armored gates, her walls up highHer famine sword, a trickster’s scionUnto her bow down nine worldsHel’s abyss, we descend


3. Four Winters

There beyond winter’s frostRevive all growth that once was lostThrough Forests shadowed from light of dayVitality forgotten within the shades so greyLong winter’s cold hath passedNow spring has come at lastGather warmth within the lightBefore four winters shed endless nightThe cold will inevitably returnThrough the light of dawnAbsent dreams of summers songAlways to awaken here, silent
