V temnote hlbín, umierajúcich hviezd
V zániku lúčov, slnko zapadá
S príchodom noci, v agónii dňa
Keď červené nebo, súmrak ovláda

V odraze tieňov, v priepasti tmy
V žiare svetla, na hladinách riek
Za zvuku lesa, pod rúškom noci
Prastaré svetlo prázdnotou umiera

V temnote hlbín mŕtvy je svet
Za svitu luny, života niet
S príchodom noci, na sklonku dňa
Kolobeh smrti a života
