The seed of a man, Virgin Sun, hail,
High in the love of universe

You must forget the warmth it gave, I will forget the light
You must bring the shadows among us, into my heart and my blood

Silence, calm and beyond, so far and so close it is

I have written a fiery gospel, laid in burnished rows of steel
As you deal within my contemnors, so with you my faith shall deal

3. March Butterfly

It came for all, like a white shade of blue
Came through the forest
Came into the fields

Like March Butterfly
Through the frost through the shine
March for the joy, again and again

Came March, gave dream of new
Waking up the heart of joy and sorrow
Both ends of the path, of life

By the seashores through the winds
After the frost, healed the wounds of frozen
The strength is in the ground
Again and again seeding the world


4. Song of Tomorrow

I hear the evening shadows calling
Wood smoke, drifting veils the distant valleys
Summer evening's joy is far from me
Why am I not happy, sorrow shakes me

But the dark woods stillness O would welcome
Red clouds through which the day is falling
Sleepy breezes from the green dark forest,
Shadows on the water, meadows flowers...

Happiness is here in my own keeping
But here before me lies the way of shadows

Maybe tomorrow I will smile through the fear
And greet the day with new found hope
Maybe tomorrow I will laugh again
And forget about this old dead man
But that is tomorrow and this is today
And the darkness still prevails


5. My Sweet Thought of Death

I use to be afraid of the dreams
Afraid as they throlls were
The bed was my scaffold

No later light has lightened, up my heaven
No second morn has ever shone, for me
All my life's bliss from, thy dear life was given,
All my life's bliss is, in the grave with thee solidifying

When day turned into night
The darkened was my life
But upside down it turns
Dreams of nights were my friends

Cursed by life, hidden in lies
Fading from the air,
Beauty now dies
Life is giving in
My sweet thought of death
