Enamored with heroic thoughts, latent; free
Chasm calls, defy; rise
Searching for the key

Burning war, lie froze in awe, for inner man
Behind lay flawed, before…Morning glows
Sun bleeds; luminous wounds
Aurora shows, shines whimsical

High above…remains…silent

Felt the stirrings of revolutionary ardor
Forced down, joy does flee. Ardent step, now rips away
Dim glare; beacon frames. Call, adore. All is lost, dripping frost, radiance
Image inscribed, collective hand. Nature lives. Grand in lust, mortal dust

Silence, saddened sketch…Arches, deluge of light
Overflow, isolate; numb…Abundance calls, flies; pierce the night
Dulling, lesser joy; dark…Faintly light, cries; musical
Sun bleeds, luminous wounds…Aurora shows, shines; whimsical


2. Endeavored Sanity (Tears)

Lying awake, weeping
battling grief

Tears become words of anguish
Frozen lifeless bones

Manic gleams, glisten
O’ what might have been
Deep haze descends; pale eyes

Betrayal, abandon
now unhallowed

Essence stripped bare
Former remnant of self
Withdraw, surrender

Tears become secretions of blood
Inner corrosion of self
Lament; spins the tale
Splendor fades

Token of disgrace
Bears its mark upon; empty

3. In Silent Blur

Moon rests obscured, looming haze
Ambient sliver sheds

Soft hue, the deep, lies dormant; still
Pines tower, impose

Will morning ever break?
Shine monumental again

Morning drizzle. Spine tingle.

North woods haunt, bones chill
Forest veiled white
In silence, fog drifts, body still

Will no freshness grow?
Youth waxed flaccid, lost

Green hues, diffuse the night
Sky splits, brings forth doom

Burning leaves fall. Frost layer rests
Stand naked, bare. Tranquil sleep
Numbing embrace. Washed grey

Snow lingers. Heavy winter.

Glacier carves the earth
Churning path
