A pretty useless release if you ask me. Basically a compilation of all his albums with et hvitt lys over skogen and havamal added as a bonus. Well, I really don't know why tracks 1-6 are on any other cd then their respective albums. If you like the songs, get the fucking albums. Track 7-8 are from daudi baldrs and hlidskjalf. Keyboard-only stuff. Probably interesting if you're into that sort of thing, but it has nothing to do with black metal. Et hvitt lys over skogen is an unreleased burzum song in the vein of his debut and the aske EP. It's a long, epic song that, apart from the sound, which is slightly 'dirtier' then on burzum/aske (I like it better then the album sound though), sounds like it came straight from the debut album. Comparable to a song like a lost fogotten sad spirit. Havamal is basically Han Som Reiste (from det som engang var), but with some asatru-leader reciting/singing 'havamal', the words of Odin from the poetic Edda (I'm assuming his reciting from the codex regius). Unless you speak Icelandic or own a copy of the Edda's with both the original text and the translations, you won't be able to understand a word of it.
