Dawn's best album by far. This was when they decided to stop the death metal and go on with more melodic guitars and acoustics. These songs are different than the ones you've heard on albums after it. Henke was going for a "Eucharist-styled" blackened shreik. Song 5 is unfuckingbelievable. The slow part is so hypnotically diabolical and his rythms over it kind of remind me of a certain Arckanum song off Kostogher-coincidently-Shamatae from Arckanum translated these lyrics into ancient swedish so not even your swede friends will translate this for you.
