This is the first and the best album of Dimmu Borgir. The aggression in the early years of Dimmu is more dark, melancholic and amazing. This album worths! And if you had listened any other new stuff of Dimmu you won't believe that this music is made and played by Shargrath, Silenoz and the other party. To bad this genere is not kept till nowadays. | Review by: Zagule Dimmu Borigr is one of my absolute favorite black metal bands. they really are. For Alltid is their first album. it begins with Det nye riket, its truly fucking amazing. a perfect intro. Then it continues just as great. old school black metal. Even better than Darkthrone i think. a very big plus for the beautiful cover. i really love this album, listen to it and enjoy. Review by: Flal Legendary debut-album by Norway's finest band was sure suprise for me when I bought this couple of years ago...in positive way. This album has an excellent atmosphere! It begins with Det nye riket-intro and i must say that the following song Under korpens vinger [Under raven's wing???] is a perfect song! First five songs are especially the best, but I like every single song of this whole album. Instrumental song Glittertind is also very nice track and for me For All tid is one of the greatest albums by it's atmosphere. Here's my advice: Get your walkman/cd player outside into the crimson summer night and listen to it so you must be in hypnosis! Maybe some new Dimmu fans don't like this but I love this album! Oh yeah, and nice cover art. Review by: kvlt I have to strongly agree with everyone here, this is the best Dimmu Borgir album. It actually gives you the feeling of the dark times, almost like a very good horror movie, kind of like what Cradle of Filth used to do, until they sold out, not unlike Dimmu Borgir. But anyways, this is slower, more melancholic Black Metal, and the screams done by Silenoz are haunting, and sound as if they are coming from the grave. This is a perfect disc. It's probably the WORST Dimmu Borgir album to date. The whole album is boring, nothing stands out. Even if you're a hardcore old-school black metal fan this album blows!! For all tid have an especial underground atmosphere with a raw and dark sound, the riffs sound melodic and beautiful, I'm very proud to have one of the first copies of this Album and the original flyer from No color records.
