OOOOOOOHHHHHHHH my SATAN. This must have to be the cooolest, best, funniest D mother V fucking D in the metal history. What the guys do back stage and on their spare time is just a blast to see. And what a live show they put on. Every time they play i get chills it so excellent. And it's really cool to watch the "alt lys er svunnet hen" clip on disc 2. Buy or die!!! | Review by: Theorgrin This is the best DVD I now own in my Metal collection !!! It gives a perfect view of Dimmu Borgir from past to present both on stage and also backstage. Great quality on both DVD's : the way DVD is ment to be used ! Review by: ph.29666 I just love this dvd. Good shitass! Buy! Review by: KamiKazeKreig This DVD is absolutely intersting, very good live performances and backstage materials... but still the real life of the band is not very well shown but its very worth to buy.. Review by: iNfernum ABSOLUTLY A MUST HAVE for any Dimmu Borgir fan or people who just flat out like them. The live footage is great although some video could focus on the other members more instead of just shagrath, and having more studio recording footage would have been awesome for the musicians that buy this dvd. the live video from the Enthrone/Spiritual is excelent, but its obvious how much they've changed not only with members but music style and look. Not, to say thats a bad thing dimmu still own for those of us that arn't strictly old school. The other footage of them is hilarious ... does anybody know who that guy is that has the bullring and the black eyeliner he's sitting down looks like a piece of plywood behind him black leather jacket he looks important Review by: xIbanezAbuserx Dimmu Borgir - World Misanthropy ================================ The first dvd from a band i ever got, and hell, this was one good choice. Dvd 1 ----- It starts with some irritating promotion clips of Nuclear blast and others which cannot be skipped (damnit), but which are then soon forgotten by a weird introduction which comes after the well known Dimmu-pentagram. Then a blasting song follows which would soon become one of my favorites. Executed by a flawless preformance with some nice smoke shooting effects, very nice. The best artist on the dvd for me is Nicholas Barker, who puts up a very fast and excellent preformance. The sound on both gigs from which the footage was taken is very massive and complete, which proves that the sound was recorded seperately from the filming. Another good thing about this dvd ! Then some very weird and funny clips of the band fucking around. The studio footage was a little disappointment though, but still good, and do not forget the funny but cool Norwegian ! (btw : the Mourning Palace melody on Silenoz' mobile is i.m.o. the funniest !). Then the first song from the Stuttgart gig follows, again with a flawless preformance, but with a little lack in the sound when the guitars are overwhelmed by the blastbeat in the drums. Shagrath's nice vocals are here again too, i'd say his preformance is better in Stuttgart then it was at the Wacken gig. Then again lightshow at the Stuttgart gig is better then the one at Wacken. Then one of the interviews started, this for example is one with Silenoz. It's better i think, to hear the "biography" from the members themselves then to read it yourself on the website. Then a nice image of Nicholas having Pyro's on his drumkit, very cool. Followed by an even cooler backstage clip in Dortmund, were the guys are standing in the dark with green eyes because of the filming, very scary ! But the coolest would be when some people invade a (slayer ?) gig on stage, sweet. And it goes on like this for a while, i'm not going to spoil all of the fun for you, get it, and watch it yourself ! Dvd 2 ----- This dvd contains some older clips, which include a version of "Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen" with just 2 guitars and a drumkit (without double bass drum), with Shagrath on guitars and Tjodalv on drums. Along with those also a few clips from a gig in Poland with Astennu still on guitars, Tjodalv still on drums, and Nagash still on bass. Some more clips with the same old line-up and one with the new line-up, which have the soundclips from the original recordings and therefore are not actual live. Too bad but still cool. And last but not least a whole picture gallery with, for example, the orchestra used to record (i don't know exactly which album). To conclude my review, this is a very very cool dvd to buy, especially if you're a Dimmu Borgir fan ! The only thing negative is that in really rare cases the guitars are overwhelmed by the blastbeat of the drums, which isn't really something which should disturb the fun. Review by: Mųrke Morgūl This is a very good DVD quality!!! I really like Silenoz. He is a funny guy!!! This one is a must have stuff for all Dimmu fan! Review by: Dani_555666
