Yet another brilliant album by the masters of melodic black metal. Megalomania falls short from Traces O' Red in the symphonic aspect, but shows a different side of EoB through using more conventional melodic techniques. Adding 2 more members to the band as well as some occasional female vocals, Megalomania adds some flair to their arsenal. Songs like "Dainty Delusive Doll", and "Late Night Red Wine Blight" are both creative and stunning, and will impress any fan of supremely melodic black metal. | Review by: fenriz Another Masterpiece of this band, though it is alot different than its predecessour [Traces O' Red] but still it is great, and the vocal is great..But the track The dying buds of may is Not good at all, i dont even know why they made it! Since the whole album have a surrounding and this track is completely different! Afterall it is a great album. Review by: iNfernum Continuing on from the Beauty of Traces 'O Red the have released yet another Krieg Nekr-0 Kvlt album this time with female vocals on Dainty Delusive Doll and more talking. All the songs on this are great except The Dyin buds of may (which sux). Also Crowd of mourners is a slow clasical kind of song which as the name suggest is a song to play at a funeral. This is also another album that if u can find i recommend you buy it Review by: Satanica This album was pretty good. I personally liked it (INCLUDING "The Dying Buds of May", not the GREATEST track, but it was pretty good), but I'm having a lot of qualms with the drum production, it's flat. Basically the same problem I had with Cradle of Filth's "Damnation and a Day". It should be more full, more depth, it's paper thin. When 'Dainty Delusive Doll' kicked off, the melody was incredble, the guitars, defined, fierce, the vocals extreme, the synths, faint, but still good. I don't know if Asgeir has anything to do with it, basically Empiricism's drums sound the same way, they didn't fit, and A Sceptic's Universe drums are nuts, but I didn't like the sounds. I'm very critical when it comes to drum sounds, and they should have been fuller. 7.5/10 Review by: malevolant_seraph if you want some action, here we go motherfucker!the cd is megalomania, the best black metal cd ever! no pop riffs, no "cool guy stuff"!what you hear is the truth about us, the fucking world, and all that you want to know, but you've feared to ask!hear it godamn it!and if you are learning guitar, listen the track #5.now, go there and kick some ass!
