What the hell happened to this band? This is without a doubt a huge letdown considering this is the same band that put out "Clandestine" & "Wolverine Blues". Review by: nyj666 Alright. This album gets a lot of kicking, but I love it (and so do at least two other people I know). Yes, THE guitar sound is gone. Yes, Peter's potentially triumphant arrival as the new Entombed drummer is ruined by a weak drum sound. Yes. BUT, the songs themselves and not so different to what we heard and loved on 'To Ride...', and what songs they are. Entombed again show that among their many gifts, the greatest of all is their ability to write REAL songs. The lyrics are awesome. Each song is totally focussed and crafted. No wasted space. If you like Shellac or Helmet, as well as Slayer/Venom, etc (as I do) then you'd do well to give this a try. It's another testament to Entombed's talent, fearlessness, and uniqueness.
