In order to appreciate this cd you need to know two things: #1. FNM was never a Metal band. #2. FNM strayed way away from their punk influences on this disc and never turned back. | While the songs "Epic" and "Falling To Pieces" are what sold mainstream listeners worldwide, they happen to be the weakest songs on the cd. "From Out of Nowhere" was actually the first single from the disc. Take a listen to the title track. Lots of different layers, very atmospheric with the guitars slamming the song home in all the right places. "Suprise! You're dead!" is all-out aggression. "Zombie Eaters" and "The Morning After" are two monster tracks. The Sabbath cover should have been left behind. If you feel "The Real Thing" was all about 2 pop songs, think again. Go ahead, spend the 5 crummy bucks at your local used cd store and buy it. Review by: pannick
