I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I already hat it on mp3 for a quite long time, but you know how it goes. Listening your mp3's through crappy pc speakers isn't really great. So in the end I decided to just buy it and see what it would be like through a great soundsystem with megaspeakers. The intro (in the 1st) song is kind of quiet, but ok. The grunting vocals make me laugh a bit, but then when the music kicks in it's one hell of a great concrete wall of Thrash/Black Metal. Those grunting vocals are only there in the intro and some other spoken parts, for the rest a Hellchrist XUL uses a black scream. The drummer is one fuckin bad ass drummer indeed. Very tight, and I like the sound of the drums a lot. These devastating drums accompagnied by the hellish somewhat thrashy guitarrifs and awesome vocal patterns makes this album one of the best in the Dutch Black Metal history. This is quality.
