Ravenous is an extremely good album in my opinion, with God Dethroned displaying their usual talent for aggressive death metal, but still maintaining a melodious atmosphere. Henri's vocals are harsh and raspy as ever, and of special note is Tony Laureano (Ex-Angelcorpse, and now Nile) on session drums. All the songs on this album are excellent. Favourites of mine include "Villa Vampiria" and "The Crown for the Morbid" aswell as the ripping rendition of Death's "Evil Dead" | - I'll ravage and rape your soul, pillage and plunder your mind, stricken and shredded to pieces, but dead I'll leave you behind. Review by: Gren I must confess that I really like God Dethroned's sound. This album seriously kicks ass, it brings you some great feelings while listening to it; not as the other bands...this is something different. That's why I keep on liking their genuine sound. 10/10 Review by: Vampyric This is a very good album, it has a very clear sound and the songs are quite memorable. this is evil music like it should be, harsh and loud. 9 of 10 Review by: euronydead An underrated album! everything in this cd is great, sound quality, speedy riffing, melody, mid-paced parts and much more. hear it by yourself, I gave it 10/10.
