this was a disapointment for me. I was expecting the hecate enthroned of the past but boy was I wrong. this record is nothing like the hyperfast paced black metal records that came before it. after some line up changes, a new singer they opt for a style more on the death metal side. I wouldn't waste my money on this. Review by: seyone mm that was certainly disappointing... you must not seek here almost anything you could find in the previous albums. This one is rather death metal style, though very well played. It is not that I don't like this album, but just that Hecate are not what they used to be any longer. I admit they did sound a little like cradle, but with this album they changed into something a lot better. I like the new vocalist to, well he left now, but he was great! Look forward to the next album. Review by: scernos Hecate Enthroned – Kings of Chaos The time has come where Hecate changed sound. The mood is no longer dark, satanic and vampire-like, but more simple and sometimes boring black metal. Jon’s hysterical and screaming vocals have been changed with a new guy’s (Dean). Compared to the first albums, this one is one of their weaker releases. It’s definitely not a bad album, it’s just all too common AND TO GOD DAMN SHORT!!!!, but still better than “Dark Requiems…”.
