I have to admit that this group is a new arrival in my pc media player so I hadn't yet the chance to listen to their previous releases... at least having not listened to anything else from these Finns, I might be more objective in my review! So, let's get started... not an easy task! Where do I have to start from? From the "overweight" guitar riffs, from the excellent vocals - yes, there are some death grunts which can be considered a form of art, contrary to popular belief of thinking death and black singers as little more than lunatic screamers - or from the great melodies? I'll be frank with you people... These guys have melodic death metal running through their veins! I know this is the case with many Scandinavian groups, such as Dark Tranquillity, Children of Bodom, old In Flames etc, but for a relatively new band to fall into the above category... it is simply an amazing achievement! After all, there aren't many bands still around with enough guts to make a comparison with Dark Tranquillity feasible! What can I say? Buy or Die! As for me, I'm about to start searching for their older albums... Got a feeling they'll be worth their salt...
