Before buying this album, I only knew Katatonia through Tonight's decision and Last Fair, i.e. the more melodic side of the band... However, when I heard this album was out I found it a good opportunity to get in touch with their former style and sound... And, believe me, you MUST get this one at least to realize how sorrowful is Gateways of Bereavement, this is the cry of mankind (TM), this is what makes you realize how useless and pathetic your life is... No one can hear you cry, but that's the feeling you get when you listen to this track. I know, it's kinda weird to buy an album for just one song, but any of the guys who already own Dance of December Soul know what I'm talking about... This track is gonna grad you at once and won't get you rid of it... Anyway, the other tracks are nice Katatonia songs, but I have to confess, this one stands out and definitlely brings me down... So now, you know what you know what you gotta do... BUY IT and FOREVER DIE... | Review by: Johann
