Released by Avantgarde Records back in 1998; the music is mostly fast, but not sounding "extreme" or at least "norwegian" that much. Some interesting Accoustic/"Disturbed"-Guitar-elements can be found in the last few songs; but the Blast Beats are a bit annoying and the melodies are not always that convincing... | I would say it's a typical "run-in-the-mill"-average Black Metal Album, for sure not bad, but nothing special anyway. Review by: Wehrwolf Here is the first KoK album. Most of the 7 songs sounds great & very fast. Guitar riffs develop dark atmosphere (check with the last fabulous song) together with grim & particular vocals. I always think this band is an sort of outsider in the norwegian scene, not receiving enough respect (like other bands such as Demonic, Enthral or Isvind...). If yu love or appreciate a lot this opus, I advise yu to buy "The Frozen Tomb of Mankind" by Thy Grief. Review by: Quintessence
