So, the last Lacrimosa album is quite nice, but the electronic taste of some of the songs is not what we would wait from Tilo Wolff, I think that Depeche Mode has a couple of songs that give you more to feel than this, but as all the Lacrimosa album this is a really well produced experiment, and after mastering the classical instrumentation to the Tilo emotional trips, itīs time to try something new I guess... maybe in the next albums we will have the idea of what he intends here... | Review by: Xibalba 'Echos' shows once again a changing style for Lacrimosa. The album is almost completely symphonic, with a dab of guitars mixed in. The harsh guitars of Fassade are gone, and the tragic bombastity of Elodia are now gone, too. Instead, Tilo wrote more positive sounding tunes, and the result is excellent. I can't really pick out a bad tune in here, but the last track, Die Schrie sing Verstummt, takes some getting used to, because Tilo sings it in a Kermit The Frog voice (huh?) But after a while, it grows on you. Review by: geiste Boring Boring (Except 1,4,5),I don't like pop rock, Fassade,Elodia and Stille are much better. Review by: tictoc912 This album is one of Lacrimosa's quitest albums. Not much of an emotional rollercoaster, more of a "river", if you see what I mean. It flows on nicely, with tracks 6 and 8 being exceptionally beautiful. Like on "Elodia", there is some very neat guitarwork here. No super-shredding, but with lots of feeling. Review by: IWK
