Dodsfard is another great release by Manegarm, it comes 3 yrs later after Harvets Vargar....what can i see its agreat album but i have one problem that it is so short, maybe the song length on the cd average out to just about under 3 minutes! It still has folk elements but it seems that the vocal style is going of into more of the death metal compared to their first release in 1998....what can i say you wont be dissapointed because it holds many melodies and still has folk elements it is just the length of the cd that might piss you off....its worth buying 9/10 | Review by: Nerthus I first heard of Månegarm only last year when I listened to "Nordstjårnans Tidsålder". As a fan of viking metal, I must be honest: I didn't think of this band as one of my favourites. Then I decided to give "Dödsfärd" a try this year. It is increadible how the concept of a band increases in less than a year and two albums away. What can I say of such a viking-based album, the guys from Thyrfing should be worried. I suggest Ägirs Vrede and Dödsfärd just to begin with. There's even a viking gathering song (the last one: "Gillesvisan"). There's one and only one drawback this album. The short tracks... it makes you wanna listen to this album several times so good and so short it is. So, anyway... BUY IT ALREADY!!! Review by: Heathen Warrior Wonderfull! the only bad thing this cd has is the fact that it only has 32minutes. 9 - 10 (only because of the short time) Review by: netin
