The speed of the guitars on here is mind numbing - just a thin, shrill, slurred buzz that destroys everything within earshot. The drums are also extremely commendable, powerful, and crushing. The bass guitar is very much easily heard in the mix and just adds to the thunder of this album. Panzer Division Marduk is a truly powerful and malicious album - a genuine Black Metal War Machine!!! P.S.i know my english suck. Review by: maladred Marduk - Panzer Division Marduk The profound atmosphere and variety of "Nightwing" can devastate this album when taking this as a sequel to it. "Panzer Divison Marduk" is probably the most brutal, fast and destroying album I've ever heard. It's warbreathing and decadence-infested atmosphere is evil as hell, and it can't be described in any words. There simply isn't words to it. The CD cover is a good example of what this album containts: 30 minutes of vicious, battlegrinding and peaceslaying metal embroided with elements of war in lyrics (and in music -> there is samples of war in some songs). The music itself is hardcore black metal and the best examples from it are "Panzer Division Marduk", "Baptism of Fire" and "Christraping Black Metal". This record is one of a kind, the very best full-length album of Marduk. If you ever have a chance to get your slit-wristed hands on this magnificent piece of warcraving metal, I strongly suggest that you take it and leave with it. The lyrics can appear cheesy at times, but I can't help but think that's the intention, and it only serves to make the songs more fun to listen to. This is a compulsory purchase for any Marduk fan.
