i recomend tis album for true black metal fans, who understand the importance of mayhem while they still had deads vocals!!!!!
the morbid bit is sort of thras/black thing, its not of much importance, but it is a good listening!! buy this fuckin album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both back cover and inside don't mention the carnage track on this CD. Very strange. CD does contain the track.
Dead does vocals on this whole CD, by both morbid and mayhem! Killer!!

i really like mayhem,and i prefer the new one,but this one its ok ,although i prefer a band with musicians attitude than a couple of losers like dead and euronimous that now insted be on stage are rot in hell,what a couple of assholes..

The really good thing about this album is that it contains Morbid's "December Moon" (with lower quality than the original record), such a good fuckin' time i have listening to these songs. Get the morbid demo as well "The Last Supper", it's pure insane metal with dead at it's peak (hilarious vocals, specially on the demo), the december moon record along with the demo are surely on metal history, zenial should really make a morbid page (as a tribute)

One of the most incredible masterpieces of all times is the »December moon« demo, released by the godly band called Morbid. This band was born in Sweden in a cold and occult night.
On this demo you can feel the occult power delivered by the music combined with the incredible voice of Dead. A curious thing is that the lead guitarist was the actual lead guitarist of Entombed… Uffe Cederlund, of course in the real underground times.
After the recording of the »Deceember moon« demo in 1987 Dead decided to leave the band becouse the other members wanted a more commercial and technical sound. On this CD you will find the songs recorded on the »December moon« demo… take note at the vocals… it is the god of black metal singing!
After the retirement from Morbid he joined the gods of Norwegian black metal as singer. This band was commanded by one of the most controversial and extreme guitar players in the black metal movement. His name… Euronymous. In 1984 he deceideed to form the most outrageous band in the scene… and Mayhem was born. The band took the name from the Venom song »Mayhem with mercy«, one of the all time favorite bands for Euronymous.
After the release of the »Deathcrush« mini LP the band had some line-up changes and the ex-singer of Morbid joined as lead singer.
With Dead on vocals the band only recorded two studio songs. These songs were originally pressed on a compilation LP/CD released by a Swedish label. The band also made a short tour in Europe. They played in places like Turkey and Germany. From the concerts in Germany they recorded a live LP pressed by an Italian label. This recording was made in the German city of Leipzig on November 26, 1990. After this tour the band went back to Norway and a few days later Dead deceided to kill himself. Mayhem tried to keep no with the work but the bad luck was beside the band. No vocalist was able to replace Dead and in 1993 Euronymous was killed. So the band was also killed.
The songs in this CD were taken from different recordings that the band made in their almost ten years career. Three of the songs featured Dead on vocals.
