Wow, an entirely logical step forward from Dropped and somewhat unexpected. This album has been described as dark. I think dark is a little misleading. PWFFTS picks up and takes further the languid melancholy established and explored on Dropped. The sound is more sparse, yet warmer. This is due to the upfront presence of the bass guitar, which is played and processed in a rather unique way. This album shimmers with excellent tracks, and I would argue it is far more "pychadelic" then dropped, in contradiction to another review on this site. In fact I'd say that PWFFTS is far tripper and visually evocative, rather abstract and esoteric. Slightly inaccesable but certainly more interesting for the fact. 10 stars! | Review by: Kinyoubi
