This album is GREAT. It's the best progressiv viking black metal I ever heard. Great vocals, great music, great atmosphere... Masterpiece!!! 100/10 | Review by: Tiste Andii OK Moonsorrows new Monster of an album, fuckin hell to do an album with only two songs, and have an average length of 28Mins!!!!!!!!!!!!! By gods what were they thinkin??? Well after the first about 5 listens I wasn't really impressed, at the same time one has to think that it will take a long time to get into any song which goes past the 10/15 min mark. So i can't tell at which time or when this album started open up, but by god it's one hell of an album. Time & patients are what this needs, and lots of it. This album slowly but surly opens to reveal what con only be described as hooks and pulls that drag you on a fantastic ride from start to finnish. Even though it's only two songs it can bring more to the table then most other artists can do in their entire recording life. And no i'm not joking! The first on which i've listened to more then the second track, starts off slow and shortly after chanting begins. On about the 5 min mark the song starts to wind up, and once the ride has begun it hard to get off, and it hardly lets up till the end. The only difference between the two tracks is that track two kicks in bsically from the start, and again it dosen't let up through the entire track. The only thing i'm wonderin about this album is how on earth are they going to be able to play one of these tracks in their set list. This is Epic in more ways then one. Personally i think that this is probably their best album that Moonsorrow has made. It's their only album that keeps me hooked from start to finnish all their other albums i zone out at one stage or another, with this album, it'll never will happen. Review by: berzerk AMAZING!! More progressive than the older ones, and very emotional stuff. Moonsorrow keep growing with every release. Review by: EMPERADOR
