Review by: iNfernum I thought that I should write my first review on this website for the CD that I like most in the brilliant death metal genre. Nile, of course, don't need any introduction, since they have become almost a hype after they had made their awesome album "Amongst The Catcombs Of Nephren-Ka". But this CD is in my opinion so much better. It's faster, tighter and on this record the Egyptian samples are actually integrated in the ultra-extreme death metal in stead of being apart from it. I can go on like this for ages, but I won't. I just want to tell everybody who is at least a little bit interested in any kind of extreme metal to give this very intelligent band a chance. For example listen to the sixth song "Masturbating The War God" which is, like every other, an extremely technical song, but so strong and very, very fast. In my opinion it belongs to the five best death metal songs ever made. You won't get to know this CD by listening to it for three times, because it's way too profound and technical for that. So you just have too take the chance and buy it instead, because it will definitely be worth it! Review by: Hakkende Harry this albums bores me a little bit though, i expected more variation in it. 'amongst the catacombs' has much more depth than 'black seeds'. probably it's just because the tracks don't do anything to me, they did not swiched as much with the melodic parts as they did in their previous work.. well, still it's a great album and you should surely buy this one, but don't forget 'the catacombs' otherwise you might be missing a giant piece of their musical creativity...
