I listened to this album after I heard Ten Days In Lachrymation. Oathean, to my knowledge, is the best Black Melodic Metal band. Like the intro for TDIL, they give you a good sense of their culture, which leads into music that any metal lover is accustom to. Their drummer, Hu Ji Oo, has notable differences in The Eyes of Tremendous Sorrow than other albums, possibly giving him more credit. Both the bassist and guitarist do enough shredding while still playng the melodic side, eventualy have me and any audience head banging to acoustic. This album was in fact a bit more Death Metal than others, the vocalist, Kim Do Soo, uses his source of low and highs to keep Oathean alive as one of the greatest bands. | Review by: Nosferatu
