This is really wrong. I've got this feeling many times ago and even now, im so fucking pissed off.
I know that probably you [anybody who can read this] has felt this before: When your favorite band [or one of your favorite ones] get lost between money and attention of the stupid masses [at this point im ready to hit the desk... done!]. It is maybe stupid to talk that way when you do not know whats being admired, observed, recorded all day but thats a matter of character!
It is funny because it is the first disc of them that i buy [and probably the last one], the rest of the stuf is proudly piracy.
Talking about the contents [for those who do not give a shit about my opinion] it is a good work in graphic and industrial design. There are two discs [at least in the especial edition], one with live acoustic recordings [good-times stuff] and the rest is 12 tracks of desilution:
-They include for this record a lot of doom-like chords [like therion]
-It sounds now like heavy-metal.

So personally [i liked orphaned...] i recomend to get into your house that sunday rather than going buy that!
Fucking jewes!

This album is truly exceptional, i bought it after having heard Ocean Land on a free cd, and just had to own the album. The blend of crunching guitars and tradional folky type melodies makes for an amazing listen. if possible try and get the limited version with the bonus live cd, because its just superb!! 10/10!!

the song that named Norra El Norra (Entering the Ark) is stollen from old arabian singer his name (karem mahmood).

This is the best album of 2004, no doubt about that. This that kind of album that would make one forget any semitical grievances and even embrace sionism. Of course I am joking. But seriously now, it is extremly pleasent to see this unique blend of orietal folk (which is one of the most dynamic types of folk music as far as i am concerned), gothic metal, clean vocals along with good quality heavy metal and occasionally peppered with some nice death metal. Plus there is this theme of the flood which adds even more flavour to an already fragrant album. Excellent work on behalf of the Israelites, i would have never imagined. 10/10

P.S.: Sahara is still an awseome album, yet not as instrumentally colourful as Mabool.

What a great band. They manage to combine the metal genre with the respective ethnic sounds of their land and, unlike most bands, do not come off cheesy doing so. Heavy distortion-laden parts suddenly morph into intoxicating Eastern ululations, choppy odd-time riffs give way to gloriously expansive power chords with cathartic, soaring melodies, exotic instruments appear out of nowhere and seem not a bit out of place.

Best tracks: "The Kiss of Babylon," which starts out with an addictive verse punctuated by choppy riffing and harmonic variance, and ends in an apotheotic slew of na-na-na's which will have you closing your eyes in self-indulgent enjoyment.

Also, "Norra el norra." This one starts off in a major key with a very folkish melody and builds up to a choir-backed chorus in Hebrew that just sweeps you along. Beautiful.

A great slab of intelligent progressive metal.
