Good! But not that good as Vulgar Display Of Power. Also this album contains a couple of good/classic songs. I have a good rememberance with this album, this is the album who told me of the existence of PanterA. So I am this album very grateful :-) | Review by: flix Becoming, Slaughtered, and Five Minutes Alone are classics. The rest of the album kinda bores me with its incessiant noize. Dynamics is the key, guys! Also, "Good Friends And A Bottle Of Pills" pisses me off. First, not a song. Second, its just sick! What the fuck were they thinking? Last, the lyrics are horribly insensitive to burn victims. I know that sounds like a pussy thing to worry about, but if you were listening to a band that you were really into after being horribly burned (pain for months, people get sick around you, you go out in public and people stare and small children cry, you'll never have sex again...), you'll probably be depressed and wanting someone to identify with, not be all but called a monster... Review by: Ambrosia Of Flesh this is the Pantera album period...the previous two albums are a bit too wimpy for me! Review by: deathshandbag Three words FAR BEYOND CRAP! Review by: METALKING666 this album is still my favorite pantera album. i think it's more brutal than vulgar display of power. more chaotic, and thats probabley because i wore vulgar display out. this is the best pantera album. Review by: celtic legions pretty much I think this album sucks but I tend to keep it anyway. i usually just listen from start to beginning, the first 5 songs are good, then it gets boring. There are cool parts here and there through out the album, but usually I listen to the whole thing just to listen to the sabbath cover at the end, which is better than any of the songs on the album. 70/100 Review by: fosvart This is one of my favorite records. Pantera in their prime. (10/10) Review by: d3th The cover sonds good and :).I don't think this is my favourite albumo fron pantera bun one thing is certain...in 1994 the guitarist Dimebag was shot an kill on stage.I personaly thinck that this one big los for Rock itself.May he R.I.P :(( :( Review by: [Ro] SnaKe eeeehhhh I'm undecided about this album. It's got some amazing songs, like Slaughtered, 5 Minutes Alone, Becoming, I'm Broken...but most of the cd goes in one ear and comes out the other. It's a nice transition between Vulgar and Trndkill, you can really see what direction they're taking, but..I'm just not feeling it. Still a good cd, but I'd expect better from this amazing band. Still better than Reinventing the Steel, but doesn't quite get the point across. 7/10 Review by: False Messiah hmm. honestly, this isn't my favourite Pantera release. don't get me wrong, everything these guys did is amazing, but I think out of all of them this is the one I listen to the least. It starts out really strong, with the first four songs being simply amazing, but then it starts to slide down hill. the only stand-out tracks are the first four, Slaughtered, and the Sabbath cover. I'd still recommend it, just not as much as their other stuff. 7.5/10 as it seems to be the low point between Vulgar and Trendkill Review by: False Messiah
