Best Sentenced album. Exteme technical 'threatening' metal. It's a shame the band changed their musical direction. Even a bigger change than with Paradise Lost: they only changed step by step to become more and more commercial. | Best song: Awayting the winter frost. This is emotion! Score: 10/10 Review by: cellebel I am surprised this album is not more popular than it is. I find it to be outstanding. It is sort of a mix between heavy metal, black metal and death metal. It is full of extremely catchy riffs, and you tell these guys are really good with their instruments. If your into the newer Sentenced material you might not like this much, because it is a lot different, but if you are into black/death/heavy metal then you are bound to like this. My personal favourite tracks are Wings and Northern Lights. This is an awesome album that seems to have been forgotten by a lot of people 9/10 Review by: Rimmon Sentenced - North From Here. This is Sentenced's peak! Together with Skydancer (Dark Tranquillity) and The Somberlain (Dissection) this is one of the best melodic and overall technical albums from early/mid nineties that came out of Scandinavia. I can only compare this with some albums from Coroner (remember them?) Songstructures are very technical and Taneli Jarva's screams are excellent! This is a very original album!
