Good album. Still very thrashy and only loses a slight step from Seasons ... Things get darker and more eerie with this release, suicide, drugs, murder etc. The thrash is still there though!! Pick: "Sex, Murder, Art", the title track, "Dittohead" | 8.5/10 Review by: Doomah Nice album, but slayer is becoming an avarage tm band in my opinion. Best songs, serenity in murder title track and fictiional reality. 7 of 10 Review by: euronydead There are certain bands where the drummer is key to the sound of the band-Rush/Zeppelin/Police etc. and other bands where the drummers are readily interchangeable-Slayer belongs in the first category. That said there are still a few killer tracks on this release, most notably Killing Fields[one of their last great songs?].Rest of the songs sound like leftovers from previous albums. All in all a pretty mediocre release. Review by: Gross This is a pretty good album. Of course, it doesn't reach classics like "Hell awaits" or the amazing "Reign in blood", but it's a solid album. In my opinion it is in every case better than "South of heaven", for example. Review by: warhellhammer This is a pretty good album. Review by: warhellhammer slayers new drummer wants to prove a point and in the first minute of killing fields he does just that. its just a shame after this album he didnt bother being so creative with his drumming, because on this disc there are a number of great moments very much hammered home through his inventive beats. Review by: blackflag Love Slayer but not this one. Drumming is awful :/ Review by: manos The end of slayer but just for awhile we are still waiting for the best for the real slayer Review by: deadatheist
