Next-in-line KICKASS release from Slayer. Not as essential as RIB, but it's still a great great album. Don't expect anyone to EVER rival RIB, it won't happen. But this one and Seasons ... sure do come close. Picks: "Behind the Crooked Cross", "Mandatory Suicide", "Read Between the Lies" | 9/10 Review by: Doomah The first time I listened to this album, I was totally disapointed. I wanted to have a "Reign in blood Pt.II"-Album, and what I'd get was a very slow and melodic one. But there are a few pretty good songs on it: "Ghosts of war", "Live undead" and "South of heaven". It's ok, but by far not the best Slayer output. Review by: warhellhammer Ok, it's by far not the best Slayer record out there, but therefore it should not be declared "bad". I'd say the best songs are "South Of Heaven, Silent Scream, Ghosts Of War and Live Undead". While there are some other wierd things on it like "Spill The Blood" which is too long in my opinion. And "Dessident Aggressor" which is not bad, but it just totally doesn't fit with Slayer. Besides of those things in, the drums are once more just "GREAT". Not the best Slayer album, buy Reign In Blood if you can ... 7,5/10 Review by: Mųrke Morgūl This album sucks me in with kerrys and jeffs riffs that aare just amazing and toms vocals are different then anyone elses, slayer kicks ass!!!!
