A bit familiar to Tiamats Clouds. I think you can descibe it as deathy gothic and it is actually really good. When I first heard about Therion I ignored their earlier works because all reviews said that this wasn't near as good as Theli and Vovin, and maybe it isn't, but I like it a lot, the music is just as great here, though a bit harder. There's only one poor thing, the vocals. Boring and too raw. He ain't singing, just screaming. Their later albums has much better singing by a female singer. There are some female tunes here, but not very much. I think this is an undervalued album, you should not ignore it. | Review by: mactatuz Probably the last of therion's album with high influence of Celtic frost. There are also gothic music influences. I Don't like it that much but it have a good orientation on this album and sometimes i think it's even funny. There's a nice "energy" on several musics. Raiders of Theli, wings of the hydra and The Beauty in black are great songs and Melez makes me want to dance :) Review by: severino
