Well, another great bombastic album. | The difference with Deggial (also a great album) is that the metal part is larger. More and heavier guitar playing en drumming. The limited version has two great covers, one from the scorpions and - believe it or not - from Abba. And I have to say it's a great song in this way. I can really recommend this album to every fan of symphonic Metal Review by: yob666yob69 The album is somewhat "stronger" than the previous ones (Vovin or Deggial) as the guitars and drumming are much more present. The album starts abruptly with the opening track Ginnungagap, then the rythm gets slower recovering gradualy with each song. There are three bonus tracks among which the cover from Abba is magnificent. Overall this is a great album, don't miss it! Review by: Vercix I noticed the original idea of this album (with the runes). And about music....it's therion signature for sure :D Review by: NightClaw Is niefelheim simply great, awesome and nearly perfect or what? Review by: bergueiro44 It's heavier than Vovin, but is still great. Review by: Love_Is_Colder_Than_Death ...and now, for the decenting veiw. I was disappointed with the follow-up to the ground shaking DEGGIAL. As others have mention there is more in the way of heavy guitar work here, but... no hooks! It was definatly a step backward into more conventional metal of yester-year. As for 'Summer Night City'... All I can say is that ABBA does not translate well to operatic-metal. Review by: AnotherTrey This is a real masterpiece. I like all other Therion albums but this one kills Review by: slayerr THERION's greatest album ever!!! Review by: mbt13
