In my view this album is better than Theli Review by: ahlan VOVIN... A fully Masterpiece of symphonic metal!!!!!... thanks Therion for the best metal art of all times!!!!... VOVIN is the best music that my ears can hear in this EARTH!!!!... All songs are wonderful... the majestic atmospheres, I can´t to say no more!!, This cd was created for divine creatures!!!... this is incredible music, this is metal art, this is the BBBEEEEESSSSTTT!!! Review by: Northvisions better than theli? i don't know about that, but this is definetely a brilliant album very much worth checking out. more refined than theli in the sense that it uses orchestral arrangements, a lot more choirs, etc. side note: the intro melody to "the rise of sodom and gomorrah" is unbelieveable. awesome way to start an album. this gets 9 / 10 from me Review by: msatan81 VOVIN is more classical music than metal because of the fact that the classical instrumentation an the opera-like choirs and vocals are everywhere in the music, and in only one track (The Wild Hunt) we can hear metal vocals (Ralf Scheepers) and these aren´t the usual style of vocal that Therion used in the past releases because this metal vocals are power metal (if you know who is R. Scheepèrs you know that he plays in a power metal band called Primal Fear). Well if you like the mix between classical music, guitars, bass and drums you should love this album.
