This is quite a high-paced cd. My favorite track being "Satanist." It's an awesome sounding tracks, the vocals, guitars, drums, and synth all working very well with one another. This is a very good black metal cd, but not quite a MUST, but it is worth the money to buy. | Review by: Cerebus Let me start with the name of the CD (and the titles of the songs!bah!what a satanic collection of titles!!),that brought some doubt when I was making a decision to buy or not to buy it. The name promised nothing too original.and booklet with the troo/pathetic words about "paths to hell" and corpsepainted faces (by the way,the corpse pain is not of a big quality, quite banal and funny) too.To tell a few words about the booklet:it would be much better without the guy's eeeevil faces.Just landscapes.and yep,the cathedral on the cd itself is nice. But nevertheless I decided to fight away the stereotyoes and take it.well..the sixth sence was not lying about the plot of the CD according to the title. To sum it up and make a long story shorter,I didn't like the album.Maybe because I like old school BM (and I was told this album is old schoolish!argh!)IMO the synths in the background sound too "synthetic" and give all the songs approximately the same sound.I have the feeling I have heard it somewhere else already, but where?yeah,I know there're only seven notes, but still the melodies are quite familiar! The guitars are quite "dry" and a few times during listening to the album I had the feeling that the music seem to "hasten" somewhere, too fast one melody is changed by another.Although I have to admit that I liked intro, which gives quite a decent atmosphere (which is an important thing for me in music I listen to!) and some drum parts on the whole album. So I listened to it for some times, having a little hope that maybe "th big love" will come not from the first time..hmm...it hasn't yet.and now I'm sure it will never come. Review by: Zmei Gorinich
