I should vote 0 for this. Complete poseurish crap! Utter stinking disgusting little piece of 'melodic' "black" metal(?). Lousy production, non-fitting performance. Drumming, that is to say the least, completely out of pace, buzzing and ultra boring riffs and... female vocals. Looking at the stupid female in the band is like returning 15-20 years back and visiting a fashion review in Russia. Since I am from from the East Europe I have a pretty good idea how pathetic it is. And her vox - shit, shit and shit again. Arghhh, I hate this garbage. Avoid at all costs!!! Don't trust those who gave this crap high rates. I am sure as Tvangest's ass this is an innuendo brought by friends of the band or(probably) by members of the band itself. Review by: Tenebrae It's sad when people like Wund write such cathegorically negative review of this album because probably they just can't get into this kind of black metal music. On the other side, they do a good job by provoking such "lazy-writer" like me to write a counter-review. "Damnation Of Regiomontum" is great album. The most essential thing there, besides technical skills, vocal capabilities, rhythm section etc., is that album has its own SPIRIT! For those who are unfamiliar about the history: Preussians were old Baltic tribe exterminated by the (German) Crusaders in about 13-14 Century AD. After the WWII, as we all know, the region fell under Soviet control, and nowadays the majority of population are of Russian origin. It's not strange that the band consists of the Russians. Strange is the fact that they somehow managed to capture the native (Preussian!) roots. (I'm Lithuanian, so I know what I talk about). Tvangeste, Perkunas etc. are ancient Lithuanian and Preussian names. Personally, every time I listen to the title track, I got the shivers down my spine as well as tears from my eyes - so emotionally the feeling of loosing the final battle and the end of the history for the WHOLE NATION is expressed here! Definitely, the best Russian Metal band (with the exclusion of RAKOTH)! Review by: Metalquass Hail all black metal fans!!!!
