I have written a smal poem about Within Temptation and I think it says something about all their cd's: A fallen angel sings her song, Guided by the music of darkness. The sounds are evil, but from heaven. A perfect mix between human and nature. Review by: The Chosen One My introduction to this MCD was the video to 'The Dance'. Although slightly primitively drawn, the video with the song had great appeal to me so I went out and listened to the whole MCD in store. Can't say I was dissapointed with the rest! The Dance and The Other Half (Of Me) are both very epic and atmospheric at the same time, and personal favorites. The Dance has more emphasis on the (romantic?) atmosphere, and the up-tempo Other Half is more epic. Another Day, and the remixes are slower tempo (beautifull, emotional) songs/ballads. If you're a fan of Within Temptation or the gothic metal genre, this is a must have. It has more 'own identity' than the albums, a unique sound and the interaction between Sharon's voice and Robert's grunt is very well done and impressive.
