A Canorous Quintet
As Tears
1. Through Endless Illusions
Walking on an endless path, falling through an endless time.
Searching for the key, captured by he who don't understand.
I seek a way out of the wilderness of my ignorance.
Turning on the light as i pass.
Loosing all faith and hope as I see.
I enter the darkness, searching for wisdom.
A secret illusion to find.
An abyss or a dwell in a thoughtfull mind.
No one can tell who's my guide.
Night is dark.
Someone's disappearing in obscurity, but knows not an answer.
Unlock the doors and fly away.
Exuberance has left, it'll soon be time to go.
Show me the way.
Time is growing, now there's room.
A key for every each (to the place) where a thoughtfull mind can rest.
Home, I'm longing for that reach.
Everyting that is I request no more.
2. The Joy Of Sorrow
A bitter tear smashes the surface.
Happiness spreads it's wings, never to return.
Blackness now the state of mind, an endless age of suffering.
A statue it speaks words never to be spoken.
Forced entries opens up the soul like never healing wounds.
Will it ever disappear?
It's beautiful like moonlight touching water.
It's painful, a being torn to shreds.
It's magnificent like perfection itself.
It's awful, a being fading on the shelf.
Endless cries above and below.
Prayers they stay unheard like the silence of a world, fading into nothingness.
Time has left us in the cold, still the fires are burning.
While everything is getting old, except the sorrow in the snow.
3. When Happiness Dies
Behind the thorns which grows, spiring though beauty is dying.
A cry for help.
Something to grab life with, when happiness dies.
Close the door, shut out the pain in the dark.
But temptation is to irresistible, you know when the hounds are running closer.
Spirit, lead for me.
My sorrow is to hard to conceal.
The pain grows from within, surrounds me with cold.
I'm freezing as happiness dies.
My world reaches destruction.
Left so cold and dark.
The eternal flower has withered, and soon also the stem.
I close my eyes, there's nothing left (for me) to see.
The emptiness feels smaller now.
I reach out to you, but you are not there.
Since you left me, nothing is.
4. Strangeland
And as I reach my hand out for the smiling moon, which reflects our sanity, our journey begins to the other world.
We see the image of someone we know.
Our thoughts projects visions of insanity that lies in our subconscious.
We're in the dreamland as we know, or is it the journey of our souls.
Despair and happiness, joy and sorrow, we discover in the strangeland we all have inside of us.
A window to another world opens as we close our eyes and fly away.
But as the window close, our visions seems gone with the wind.
Maybe never to be seen again.
I open my eyes and say goodbye.
As my memories pass away with the light of day.
