Very good for the first formation of Darkthrone with Fenriz on vocals. Drops off here & there buts thats to be expected for a demo. Very Raw & Evil with great rhythm. | Review by: blackflame it's a very raw release. the sound is truly bad, much worse than any other of Darkthrone's albums (obviously), but yet, that exact horrible sound is what making this demo so special. on newer outputs by Throne, the sound is bad - but you here what you need to hear, so it only comes up good. main thing with the sound here is that the vocals arent in-front enough. as for the album itself - it's way cool. you can straight hear it's Darkthrone, the music itself is black-death, very dark. the cover art fits very well (this space-creator), the album's sound is like from another galaxy of darkness, and the guitar sounds quite psychedelic, with awsome outer-spacy sound. the guitar here sometimes sounds like a dark black version of Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd. bottom line, this is a demo - you know how it works, and this one is real good. quite large amounts of potential are found here. Review by: forgotten You can clearly hear it's Darkthrone. I think this is a lot better than the newer releases like Goatlord and Hate Them, but it's still worse than Under a Funeral Moon, A Blaze in the Northern Sky and Transilvanian Hunger. If you consider that, you should get the idea of how good this is. It's not the best thing I've heard, but it's really good for a demo. Kind of short songs, tho..
